The Mission
At ModMed, we are placing doctors and patients at the center of care through an intelligent, specialty-specific cloud platform. We are looking for a Technical Product Owner who doesn't just manage a backlog, but actively shapes a world where software increases medical-practice success and improves patient outcomes.
The Role
You will serve as the strategic bridge between vision and velocity. As the liaison for our Practice Management product, you will leverage your deep medical billing knowledge and technical SQL skills to translate complex business needs into groundbreaking AI and automation-driven features.

- Drive the AI Revolution: You won't just follow a roadmap; you'll elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for AI-driven logic and automation triggers that redefine the modern in ModMed.
- Innovate Boldly: Translate business needs into high-fidelity functional requirements, including technical specifications and workflow diagrams that define the future of practice automation.
- Save Time (Quantifiably): Identify operational bottlenecks using data-driven metrics and propose automation solutions that reduce manual effort and maximize financial outcomes for our clients.
- Collaborate & Align: Partner with Engineering and Product Management to navigate the development lifecycleaddressing edge cases, ensuring scalability, and maintaining the highest standards of model accuracy.
- Champion Change: Coordinate alpha/beta programs to gather the voice of the customer, ensuring our AI initiatives create genuine Customer Delight before they hit the general market.
- Think Big: Support release readiness by creating the source of truth documentation and training materials that empower our internal teams to succeed.
- What You Bring
- Healthcare Core: You have deep-rooted experience in Healthcare or Practice Management. You understand the heartbeat of a medical office.
- Technical Edge: You are proficient in SQL for data validation and problem investigation. You enjoy looking under the hood to ensure data integrity.
- The Automation Mindset: You are fascinated by AI capabilities and have the analytical rigor to design solutions that are compliant, scalable, and intuitive.
