The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Owner / Business Analyst to join our product team. In this role, you will act as the liaison between stakeholders and the engineering team, translating business needs into clear and actionable product requirements. You will be responsible for defining product features, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of capabilities that solve meaningful problems for our customers.
As a key member of the product organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are customer-centric, strategically aligned, and technically feasible. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for gathering, analyzing, and documenting product requirements and business processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Managers, Sales, Customer Success, and Compliance teams, to define user needs and translate them into clear epics and user stories
- Own and manage the product backlog, including grooming, prioritization, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with UI/UX designers and engineering teams to ensure solutions are intuitive, technically sound, and aligned with business goals
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews to ensure alignment and clarity across the development lifecycle
- Conduct gap analysis, identify process improvements, and ensure delivered solutions address real user pain points
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure business validation of delivered features
- Use data insights, user feedback, and performance metrics to support decision-making and product iteration
- Maintain strong documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or hybrid product-facing role within a software development organization
- Deep familiarity with Agile development methodologies and related tools such as Jira, Confluence, and product collaboration platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business problems and design scalable solutions
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Experience developing detailed user stories, workflows, process maps, and business cases
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on business impact and user value
