Job Description

IT By Design is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, launch readiness, and sales enablement across its solution portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, marketing, and leadership. The PMM will be responsible for translating ITBD's offerings into clear value propositions, differentiated messaging, sales-ready narratives, and market-facing campaigns. The role carries significant scope because ITBD serves MSPs through a broad portfolio spanning talent solutions, infrastructure managed services, TeamGPS, executive education, and AI-focused products - making the ability to market across a multi-solution portfolio a core requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Positioning and Messaging

• Own product and solution positioning, messaging, and differentiation across ITBD's portfolio.

• Translate technical and service-heavy offerings into clear business value for MSP decision-makers.

• Develop persona-specific and buyer-stage-specific messaging that resonates at each point in the funnel.

• Partner with the web and demand generation teams to sharpen funnel messaging at key conversion points.

Go-To-Market and Launch

• Build GTM plans for product launches, new service packaging, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.

• Support event and campaign messaging tied to priority solutions and strategic themes.

• Ensure launch readiness across sales, marketing, and communications before any major release or announcement.

Sales Enablement

• Develop sales-ready assets including pitch decks, one-pagers, solution pages, FAQs, battlecards, and email narratives.

• Partner with sales teams to understand objections, buying triggers, and positioning gaps — and close them through better content and narrative.

• Drive adoption of messaging frameworks and enablement assets across the sales and marketing teams.

Research and Insight

• Conduct ongoing audience, competitor, and market analysis to sharpen differentiation and identify whitespace.

• Surface customer and market insights that inform positioning decisions and strategic narrative.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with brand, content, demand generation, and communications teams to bring product narratives to market consistently.

• Work closely with leadership on strategic narrative development for core offerings and priority initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

• 7+ years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing, or go-to-market roles.

• Strong experience in B2B technology, SaaS, IT services, managed services, or complex service-led businesses.

• Proven positioning and messaging capability - able to distil complex offerings into sharp, commercially compelling narratives.

• Experience creating sales enablement content and managing launch readiness end to end.

• Strong research and analytical skills including competitor analysis and customer insight work.

• Excellent writing and presentation skills.

• Strong collaboration skills across product, sales, marketing, and leadership functions.

Tools and Platforms

Candidates should have working proficiency or the ability to adapt quickly to:

• HubSpot - for campaign execution, lifecycle messaging, and funnel performance tracking

• monday.com - for GTM planning, launch tracking, and cross-team coordination

• Claude / AI-assisted tools - for content drafting, research acceleration, and messaging iteration

• Google Analytics / funnel analytics tools - for tracking messaging performance and conversion impact

Preferred Background

• Experience marketing to MSPs, IT leaders, or service-led B2B buyers.

• Familiarity with portfolio marketing across multiple offerings rather than a single product.

• Exposure to event-led GTM, thought leadership-driven growth, and solution packaging.

• Working knowledge of AI, managed services, staffing and talent solutions, or operational software categories.

• Clarity and adoption of solution positioning across sales and marketing teams

• Sales enablement effectiveness and asset adoption

• Launch readiness and GTM execution quality

• Funnel performance improvement driven by stronger messaging

• Competitive differentiation in market-facing materials

• Influence on pipeline generation and conversion rates
