We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can sharpen our product story, drive user growth, and strengthen customer trust in a high-velocity lending environment.
Role Description
As the Product Marketing Manager, you will own product positioning, messaging, go-to-market execution, and user lifecycle communication for our short-term personal loan product. Your goal is to improve acquisition, activation, disbursal rates, and repeat borrowing while ensuring clear, compliant, impactful communication across all channels.
- Develop clear, differentiated messaging for our short-term personal loan offering.
- Simplify complex loan flows (documentation, underwriting, disbursal, repayment).
- Maintain consistent product narratives across app, website, and marketing channels.
- Lead GTM for new features, loan journey improvements, reward updates, and app enhancements.
- Create launch assets: landing pages, app banners, emails, WhatsApp templates, push notifications.
- Partner with Product, Tech, Credit, Brand, and Customer Service to ensure timely execution.
- Deep dive into borrower segments: new vs repeat users, rejected applicants, drop-offs, high-value customers.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking across personal loan fintechs.
- Use insights to influence product roadmap and messaging strategies.
- Build strong communication funnels from install application approval disbursal repayment.
- Increase repeat borrowing through targeted CRM campaigns.
- Own push/SMS/email/WhatsApp communication strategy with a focus on conversion and retention.
Write sharp, clear, high-conversion copy for CRM, app, website, ads, and product surfaces.
Work with designers to create high-impact product collateral.
- Ensure regulatory-compliant and brand-consistent communication.
- Define KPIs for all product marketing initiatives.
- Analyse performance of campaigns, communication, and funnel improvements.
- Present insights to leadership and drive continuous optimization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Market Research, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to inform strategies.
- 24 years of experience in Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Consumer Marketing.
- Experience in fintech or consumer tech is preferred.
- Strong understanding of consumer funnels and lending journeys.
- Excellent copywriting skills and strategic thinking.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (MoEngage/WebEngage/CleverTap/etc).
- Data-driven mindset (Excel / SQL basics is a plus).
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in creating and implementing Go-to-Market Strategies and planning product launches.
- Strong Sales and Product Marketing skills with a focus on generating leads and supporting the sales team.
- Qualifications in Product Management with a good understanding of product lifecycle and competitive positioning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- A degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
