Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Brand Manager / Product Manager to lead the oncology portfolio. The role will be responsible for driving brand strategy, execution excellence, and business growth in alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Portfolio Management
- Own and drive brand strategy and annual brand plans to maximize business impact and achieve financial targets.
- Accountable for budget planning, utilization, and execution of marketing programs.
- Forecast brand performance, track progress, and report outcomes to the Marketing Lead.
- Participate in launch strategies, growth initiatives, and lifecycle management of products.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Coordinate with Marketing Lead to design and develop cost-effective promotional tools and materials.
- Customize global/central brand strategies to meet local market needs and priorities.
- Develop and execute promotional meeting strategies ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
- Manage external agencies for creative, digital, and promotional activities.
Field Force & Market Engagement
- Conduct joint field work to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Support product positioning, prioritization, and training of the field force.
- Drive brand leadership across sales, medical, regulatory, legal, finance, and other cross-functional teams.
Medical & KOL Engagement
- Partner with Medical Affairs to educate KOLs on ongoing research and differentiated product attributes.
- Develop awareness campaigns and CME initiatives in collaboration with Medical teams.
Digital & Innovation
- Develop and implement a digital strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Leverage digital tools and channels to generate market insights and integrate them into brand strategy.
- Continuously improve digital marketing effectiveness and adoption.
Shared Accountability
- Contribute to total operating plans and influence sales targets in collaboration with BU and Marketing Leads.
- Support long-range forecasting and revenue adjustments as required.
Candidate Profile
- Pharmacy graduate (B.Pharm); MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical product/brand management (oncology experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, brand planning, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and data-driven decision-making.
