The Team

This role sits within theMI Enterprise Technologyorganisation, supporting the Reporting and AI teams that deliver enterprise-scale analytics, reporting, and AI-driven solutions acrossS&P Global Market Intelligence. The team focuses on building governed, scalable, and reusable solutions that enable senior leaders and business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions with confidence.

The Product Manager - Reporting & AI will play a pivotal role in aligning the work of multiple delivery teams, ensuring solutions are well-scoped,prioritised, and delivered to a high standard whilemaintainingstrong operational hygiene.

The Impact

You will act as the connective tissue between stakeholders, product, and engineering teams-translating business needs into clear, actionable user stories and ensuring the resulting solutions are credible, adopted, and add measurable value. This is a highly visible role, positioning you as the face of the Reporting & AI product area and a trusted partner to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Delivery Alignment

  • Lead cutting-edge AI innovation - Own the strategic execution of high-profile agentic solutions with significant organizational visibility, positioning yourself at the forefront of artificial intelligence transformation in the financial services industry

  • Act as the primary point of coordination across Reporting and AI delivery teams, ensuring priorities, dependencies, and roadmaps are aligned.

  • Maintain clear business features with defined value, user stories, acceptance criteria, and releases.

  • Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure solutions are technicallyfeasible, scalable, and aligned to enterprise standards.

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Translation

  • Work with business and technology stakeholders across MI to understand problems, scope opportunities, and shape pragmatic solutions.

  • Translate stakeholder requirements into clear epics, features, and user stories that provide sufficient context for development teams.

  • Manage trade-offs between scope, value, time, and technical complexity, setting clear expectations with stakeholders.

Solution Ownership & Adoption

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Reporting & AI solutions-from discovery and delivery through to adoption and continuous improvement.

  • Promote delivered solutions across the business, acting as an advocate and subject-matter expert for the product area.

  • Develop and supportenablementmaterials, demos, and communications to drive awareness and usage.

Governance, Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensureappropriate UATprocesses arefollowedand that solutions meet defined acceptance criteria before release.

  • Define and track success metrics to measure business value and solution performance.

  • Continuouslyidentifyopportunities to improve delivery processes, documentation, and ways of working across teams.

Technical & Ways-of-Working Expectations

  • Strong experience working in Agile and Lean environments, collaborating closely with engineering and data teams.

  • Familiarity with enterprise reporting, analytics, and AI/ML solution delivery (hands-on development notrequiredbut conceptual understanding is essential).

  • Experience working with tools such as Power BI, data platforms, automation, and modern analytics ecosystems.

  • Comfortable working with technical concepts and translating them into language suitable for senior business stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10+ years experience in product management, business analysis, or delivery-focused roles within data, reporting, or technology domains.

  • Proven experience writing high-quality user stories and managing backlogs.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior audiences.

  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting, demoing, andrepresentingthe team.

Desirable

  • Product Manager / Product Owner certification (e.g., APM,SAFe, Scrum).

  • Experience working with enterprise reporting, BI platforms, and AI-enabled products.

  • Exposure to UAT frameworks and change management practices.
