Product Manager – Supply Chain & Operations
What Makes This Role Exciting
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own the product vision and roadmap for end-to-end supply chain systems covering demand planning, procurement, production planning, warehousing, inventory, and logistics
- Translate business goals such as freshness, fill rate, cost optimization, and SLA adherence into measurable product outcomes and KPIs
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and process optimization across supply chain operations
- Drive scalable product solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance
Execution & Delivery
- Lead product discovery, prioritization, and execution across internal operational platforms
- Create detailed PRDs, define user journeys, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, and Operations teams
- Drive data-backed experimentation and continuous process improvements
- Ensure timely delivery of high-impact features in a fast-paced environment
Demand, Inventory & Planning
- Build products that enhance demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and inventory optimization
- Partner with Data Science teams to develop forecasting models and decision-support systems
- Enable real-time visibility into inventory, wastage, fulfillment, and operational capacity across multiple nodes
- Improve inventory turns while maintaining service levels and operational efficiency
Operations & Reliability
- Design systems that improve traceability, compliance, and quality control across supply chain workflows
- Build operational dashboards, alerting systems, and exception management frameworks
- Balance platform stability and operational reliability with rapid product iteration in a 24x7 environment
- Improve process visibility and operational decision-making through scalable internal tools
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary product stakeholder for Supply Chain and Operations leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Category, Retail, and Business teams on cost, margins, and product availability
- Drive roadmap prioritization by balancing operational requirements, customer impact, and technical scalability
- Influence strategic product decisions across multiple business functions
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 6–10 years of Product Management experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Retail Operations, FMCG, or related domains
- Hands-on experience building internal operational platforms or enterprise workflow products
- Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable products in high-growth or high-volume environments
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience working on metrics, dashboards, operational KPIs, and forecasting models
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous and evolving operational environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong execution ownership with a focus on operational impact
Good to Have
- Experience in fresh food, cold chain, or perishable supply chain environments
- Exposure to demand forecasting, inventory optimization, WMS, TMS, or supply chain planning systems
- Experience collaborating with Data Science or Optimization teams
- Familiarity with operational analytics and supply chain automation initiatives
