Role & Responsibilities:

1. Lead Cross-Functional Teams

○ Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and business stakeholders through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery.

○ Ensure effective collaboration among teams to drive the successful development, launch, and iteration of products.

2. Product Backlog Management & Prioritization

○ Manage the product backlog by prioritizing features based on business objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility.

○ Regularly review and refine the backlog to align with evolving business goals and user feedback.

3. Technical Feasibility & Collaboration

○ Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that product features are technically feasible, scalable, and maintainable.

○ Lead discussions on product architecture, data flow, API integrations, and technical debt to ensure the product is built with a solid technical foundation.

4. Collaboration with Design Teams

○ Collaborate with design teams to ensure the product's user interface (UI) is intuitive, user-friendly, and aligns with overall user experience (UX) goals.

○ Provide input into UI/UX designs, ensuring the product meets both functional and aesthetic standards.

5. Product Architecture & Technical Expertise

○ Serve as the product's technical expert, guiding decisions on architecture, integration, and overall product structure.

○ Ensure product design and development adhere to best practices in coding, scalability, and security.

6. Integrating Feedback & Market Trends

○ Collaborate with engineering teams to implement product features based on user feedback, market trends, and new technologies.

○ Ensure the product continuously evolves to meet market demands and delivers value to users.

7. Clear Communication with Stakeholders

○ Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that complex technical concepts are communicated in a clear, concise manner.

○ Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and upcoming features.

8. Defining KPIs & Success Metrics

○ Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to evaluate product performance, user adoption, and business impact.

○ Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize the product post-launch.

9. Product Quality & Monitoring

○ Establish processes for monitoring product quality, including implementing automated testing, integration testing, and performance monitoring tools.

○ Ensure product releases meet the required standards for quality, security, and performance.

10. Post-Launch Optimization & Iteration

○ Lead A/B testing, user testing, and iterative development to continually optimize product performance and user experience after launch.

○ Drive enhancements and feature iterations based on user feedback, performance metrics, and business needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

● Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

● Preferred: MBA or equivalent experience.

Experience:

● 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly within the fintech, NBFC, or financial services sectors.

● Proven track record in technical product management, including experience with API integrations, cloud services, and scalable fintech platforms.

● Solid understanding of financial products and services, especially in lending, digital payments, or investment products within the fintech or NBFC landscape.

● Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), technical architecture, and performance optimization.

● Experience with regulatory compliance in fintech (e.g., RBI guidelines for NBFCs) and knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations (GDPR).

Skills:

● Strong technical background with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha!, Trello) and familiarity with development tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).

● Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with engineering, design, business, and marketing teams.

● Ability to work in agile environments and manage iterative development cycles.
