Job Description

Job Title- Product Manager- Power

Exp Range- 15 to 18 Years

Location- Bangalore (Doddaballapur)

Purpose of the Role:

  • Analyze trends, Product Portfolio Analysis,
  • Competition Analysis and Battle Cards
  • Lead new product development
  • Product Testing as per IEC/UL standards
  • Software Configurator – Product Enhancements and additions
  • Analyze the sales reports and cost variations on regular basis.
  • Manage Product Life cycle, Product Info, Data sheets etc.
  • Support Product Launch, Marketing and Training Support
  • Technical Support to the Sales team members

Main Responsibilities / Critical tasks

  • Analyze the market trends
  • Monitor Competition
  • Identify and analyze the product gaps
  • Focal point for new product development
  • Prepare Market Launches based on product solutions
  • Analyze the Sales report
  • Monitor cost variations and work on cost reduction.
  • Have an in-depth information of market trends and competitions.
  • Creating business case for new product development and focal point for developing it in coordination with R&D, Design, Quality, Sourcing etc.
  • Market Launches for new products.
  • Creation of technical write ups, battle cards, marketing material in coordination with marketing team.
  • Technical Support to the sales
  • Analyze the sales reports and margin analysis.
  • Monitor Cost variations and work on cost reductions.

Qualification:

  • B Tech Degree in Electrical preferably with MBA having experience in Product Management

Skills

  • Product Management
  • Research & Technical Skill on LT Power distribution segment and industrial electrical Panel Boards
  • Good Analytical Skills & Communication skill (Verbal and Written)
  • Presentation Skills
  • New product development and launches
  • Project management skill would be an added advantage
