This Position reports to:
R&D Team LeadYour role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Research and Development (R&D) employees and support them in achieving the agreed R&D targets. Each day, you will coach and develop the team. You will also showcase your expertise by helping in managing technologies, platforms, and Intellectual Property.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business Drive Products Division in Bangalore, India
You will be mainly accountable for:
Organization & people development: Managing a group of 10 team members (testers, test automation developers, external contract engineers and interns). Guide, coach, and mentor team members on Career, Competence and Soft Skills.
Drive resource and competence management globally within the software area.
Ensure effective exchange of knowledge to promote collaboration and develop new technological approaches and solutions.
Safeguard quality assurance of all deliverables from the development team .
Ensure timely and on-budget execution of projects and work packages monitor progress and take corrective actions if necessary.
Ensure that the right testing and development processes and tools are adopted.
Propose and execute improvement processes within the Team.
Ensure and foster own organization and employees to gain the ability to challenge the status quo in technical issues, projects, and processes, and translate this into dedicated actions.
Qualifications for the role :
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or technology, with 12-15 years of experience in software testing, test automation, project management, and people leadership.
Strong knowledge on manual and automation testing concepts, test automation tools and techniques.
Strong background in research and development practices and processes .
Certification in ISTQB foundation level would be added advantage
Good knowledge of industrial automation engineering and testing
Sound knowledge on AI usage in testing activities
Experienced in international and cross-cultural collaboration and leadership. Project management skills, with proficiency in leading testing teams and labs
