Role Summary:
Define, plan, and execute the product roadmap for a specific product or feature set, from initial concept through launch and iterative improvement. Responsible for maximizing product value for customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and define user problems.
- Define product requirements (PRDs) and user stories for the engineering team.
- Prioritize features and bug fixes based on strategic value and resource constraints.
- Work closely with UX/UI design to create an optimal user experience.
- Track product performance using key metrics (e.g., usage, conversion, retention, revenue).
- Collaborate with marketing and sales for product launch and go-to-market strategies.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, collaborative, often involving daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions with technical teams.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to ensure all parties are aligned and informed.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop contingency plans and proactively address potential issues.
Resource Management:
- Manage project resources, including personnel, budgets, and tools.
- Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure the project team is adequately staffed.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Implement and maintain best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in product management, or related roles (Product owner).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum). Ability to interpret basic technical concepts and trade-offs.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau) to drive data-informed decisions. Strong quantitative reasoning.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and public speaking skills. High degree of empathy for the customer.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, or equivalent practical experience).

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Certification:
- Certifications like CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or similar product management certifications.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
