We are seeking a Business Analyst / Product Manager with strong domain expertise in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Management and Investment Management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in capital markets, investment data, and product/platform implementation, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand financial services and asset management context with prior experience in investment management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements across capital markets and asset management domains
- Work extensively on investment data analysis, including querying and validation using SQL
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and product features
- Drive the product development lifecycle from ideation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Partner with engineering, QA, and design teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions
- Support implementation and enhancement of:
- Portfolio Management Systems (PMS)
- Trading Platforms
- Risk & Analytics tools
- Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and client needs to recommend product improvements
- Facilitate UAT, stakeholder communication, and product demonstrations
- Work independently with strong ownership and effective communication
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of Financial Services, especially Asset Management and Investment Management
- Experience in Capital Markets and investment data handling
- Hands-on experience in data analysis using SQL
- Exposure to:
- Mutual Funds
- Derivatives
- Investment Banking products
- Familiarity with:
- Portfolio Management Systems (PMS)
- Trading Platforms
- Risk & Analytics tools
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills (will be assessed during interviews)
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Manager in the financial domain
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good to Have
- Knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks in financial markets
- Experience with data tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI platforms
Certifications such as CFA, FRM, or Product Management
