Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Product Manager with deep domain expertise in the Healthcare Payer industry and strong capabilities in Data Analytics.

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will bridge the business and technical realms, driving the delivery of data-driven solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, capture, and refine business requirements specific to the Healthcare Payer domain
  • Define product vision and prioritize the backlog to ensure alignment with both business goals and compliance mandates
  • Act as the customer advocate, translating business needs into actionable user stories and detailed acceptance criteria
  • Interpret large sets of healthcare and claims data to uncover actionable insights and opportunities for operational improvements
  • Design and deliver data presentations, dashboards, and reports to inform decision-making
  • Partner with data engineers, analysts, and developers to guarantee data integrity, quality, and adherence to privacy standards
  • Maintain awareness of updates in healthcare regulations, payer policy changes, and advancements in data analytics practices
  • Facilitate smooth communication among technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Oversee the testing, validation, and implementation of new data-driven applications or feature enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines, with preference for a Master's degree
  • 10-16 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager within the Healthcare Payer domain
  • Background in healthcare claims processing, provider networks, member management, or payer operations
  • Expertise in data analytics using reporting tools and technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL
  • Qualifications in healthcare data compliance and standards like HIPAA or coding systems such as ICD, CPT, and HCPCS
  • Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Exceptional skills in communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and decision making
  • Capability to translate data interpretations into strategic outcomes

Nice to have

  • Flexibility to use healthcare data platforms and familiarity with ETL workflows
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling or machine learning applications in healthcare
  • Certification such as CBAP, CSPO, or equivalent
