About the RoleWe are looking for a Product Manager with strong technical intuition to drive the delivery of our core digital platforms. You will own the operational success of the product, serving as the primary link between the engineering floor and the executive team. Your value lies in your ability to deconstruct complex challengesspanning data, logic, and user interface and translate them into clear, actionable plans for the business.
What You'll DoKey ResponsibilitiesTechnical Roadmap Ownership: define and prioritize work not just by feature, but by technical dependency. You must understand how backend logic, API availability, and frontend limitations impact the delivery timeline.
System-Wide Problem Solving: Act as the first line of defense for delivery blockers. You will need to rapidly assess whether a delay is due to a data service, an integration failure, or a client-side implementation issue, and guide the team toward a resolution.
Stakeholder Translation: You are responsible for explaining the technical reality to non-technical leadership. You must articulate why a specific backend refactor is necessary or why a UI change requires a complex API update, effectively managing expectations.
Feasibility & Risk Assessment: Evaluate incoming requirements against the current technical architecture. You are expected to flag risks in scalability, performance, or usability before they enter the sprint.
Quality & Consistency: Oversee the integrity of the final output. You ensure that the backend functionality aligns perfectly with the frontend experience and that the final product matches the UX vision without compromising performance.
What We're Looking ForTechnical & Architectural Fluency:
System-Level Vision: Ability to conceptualize the product as a wholeunderstanding how data flows from the backend to the user interface, and how design choices impact system performance.
Feasibility Analysis: Partner with engineering during the design phase to identify technical risks early. You should be able to spot when a proposed UX feature might create complex backend dependencies or latency issues.
Integration Awareness: Experience managing products that rely heavily on third-party integrations, APIs, and real-time data, ensuring that front-of-house experience matches back-of-house capabilities.
Root Cause Analysis: When a project is delayed or a bug appears, you don't just say it's broken. You dig in to understand why and help the team find a path forward.
Leadership Presence: 45 years experience, with a proven track record of managing technical stakeholders and developers.
Clear Communication: The ability to take a complex engineering problem and summarize it into a 3-bullet point update for leadership.
SDLC Management: Proficiency in Jira/Agile tools to track not just tasks, but the technical health of the project.
