Today's IT organizations are under tremendous pressure to deliver applications and services faster with optimized cost and greater efficiency by establishing and practicing the FinOps principles. IBM Cloudability is an industry-leading product that helps customers set up and practice the FinOps processes. To continue building the momentum and our leadership position in the market, we are seeking a product manager to join our talented team. This role is ideal for individuals who combine deep technical knowledge with customer-centric insights, enabling them to drive impactful product decisions that bridge technical capabilities and market demands focused on building multi-cloud cost management capabilities.
The Cloudability Product Management team is accountable to numerous stakeholders, including customers, partners, sellers, customer success, engineering, support, etc., globally. Our team needs to make sure we continuously provide these stakeholders with the exact strategy and content needed to facilitate sales, unlock new paths to market, ensure renewals, maintain our leadership, and support existing customers. This position will be responsible for executing the strategy used by the Product Management team to deliver all of the objectives to our stakeholders. You'll execute the vision and measure and analyze results every step of the way to ensure success, make data-informed decisions, and continuously improve your and the team's efforts.
We are specifically looking for candidates with in-depth knowledge and exposure to the following:
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, etc.)
- Container Platforms (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift)
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to translate technical capabilities into product strategy
- Lead product ideation, product requirements, and release planning leveraging both business insights and technical know-how
- Act as a subject matter expert for product features, and various integrations
- Analyse market trends and customer feedback, especially from technical and sales conversations, to refine product direction
- Drive cross-functional alignment and clear communication between engineering, sales, and product stakeholders
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, providing product expertise to clients and partners
- Measure and optimize product performance, championing improvements based on business and technical metrics

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- At least 3 years of experience in product management
- Demonstrable success in various product initiatives in technology-driven environments
- Demonstrable hands-on product management experience in enterprise B2B products with cloud exposure
- Good understanding of cloud or multi-cloud concepts, cost and deployment challenges
- Strong understanding of technical concepts, software architectures, or enterprise technology solutions
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with engineering, design, support, sales, and customer success teams
- Solid project management skills and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Prior success in engineering, sales engineering or customer-facing technical roles
- Knowledge of product analytics, user engagement metrics, or technical sales cycles
- Experience with developer tools, APIs, and technical integrations
- Experience in the Data Integration space is not mandatory but deeply valued
