Job Summary:

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Billing Product team, with a strong focus on Tax and Compliance capabilities across global markets. In this role, you will help shape and scale Chargebee's tax-related offerings, including VAT, sales tax, and e-invoicing, ensuring our customers remain compliant as regulations evolve.

As a Product Manager on the Billing team, you will play a critical role in building compliant, scalable, and customer-friendly solutions that support Chargebee's global growth and enable customers to operate confidently across jurisdictions.

Job Responsibilities:

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of product capabilities within the Billing module. You'll have the unique opportunity to build and deliver products for merchant and customer-facing products directly to influence the business growth

You will be responsible for creating

  • Product Roadmap: Assist in developing and maintaining the product roadmap. Collaborate with the team to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback and OKRs.
  • Requirements Gathering: Document detailed product requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise and aligned with the product strategy.
  • Documentation: Maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, marketing collateral and product announcements.
  • Product Marketing: Be the product input to our marketing team to enable effective and impactful product marketing communications.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team with presales activities, including product demonstrations. Help showcase how the product can address a customer's specific challenges and provide a tailored experience.
  • Active Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to product development and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Who we're looking for

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, owning end-to-end product lifecycles from discovery to production.
  • Experience or strong interest in tax and compliance domains, such as VAT, sales tax, e-invoicing, or financial/regulatory systems.
  • Ability and curiosity to learn complex regulatory topics and translate them into intuitive product experiences.
  • Strong customer mindset, balancing future opportunities versus immediate needs.
  • High attention to detail, especially when working on compliance-critical features, while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
  • Data-driven approach to defining success metrics and measuring outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving requirements.
