About the Role
We're looking for a Product Manager (PM-1) to strengthen and scale our Payouts business.
This role has two core mandates:
- Ensure product sanity improve reliability, usability, and operational robustness
- Research and shape adjacent product opportunities around Payouts
You will work closely with the Director of Product to deeply understand the current system, identify structural gaps, and build a strong foundation for future growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex platform problems and thinking beyond incremental feature releases.
What You'll Own
Product Sanity & Stability
- Deep-dive into transaction flows, failure patterns, and reconciliation gaps
- Identify systemic issues across DB logs, merchant complaints, and support tickets
- Partner with engineering to improve reliability, performance, and operational clarity
- Reduce friction across APIs, dashboards, and merchant workflows
Merchant & Market Understanding
- Speak regularly with merchants (operations, finance teams, founders)
- Analyze churned accounts and usage patterns
- Identify structural gaps in our current offering
New Product Research
- Explore adjacent use cases around payouts (compliance, identity, treasury, automation, etc.)
- Build structured problem statements and opportunity briefs
- Conduct discovery interviews and early validation experiments
- Shape initial product direction before formal roadmap inclusion
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Own dashboards and key product metrics
- Break down performance by segment, industry, and use case
- Translate insights into prioritized actions
What We're Looking For
- 24 years of product management experience
- Strong analytical ability and comfort working on platform/API-first products
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and structure open-ended problems
- High ownership mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
