We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Product Manager Business Development who will be responsible for lead generation, client coordination, internal team collaboration, and overall sales process management, especially through platforms like IndiaMART.

Job Summary

The Product Manager will play a key role in driving business growth by managing lead generation activities, handling IndiaMART inquiries, converting prospects into clients, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients and internal departments. The candidate must have strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills to manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to order execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Manage and handle IndiaMART platform for lead management and inquiry responses.
  • Generate new business leads through calls, emails, digital platforms, and references.
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries efficiently.
  • Identify potential clients and convert inquiries into confirmed business orders.
  • Maintain consistent follow-ups to improve conversion ratios.
  • Understand client manufacturing requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
  • Finalize potential clients through structured lead qualification processes.

End-to-End Sales Coordination

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to order closure.
  • Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and product specifications.
  • Coordinate pricing discussions and support negotiation processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation of client communication and order details.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients for manufacturing services.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Understand client requirements clearly and communicate them internally.
  • Address client queries and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction to generate repeat business.

Internal Coordination & Operations Support

  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, quality, and procurement teams for smooth execution.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding raw material or procurement requirements (if applicable).
  • Monitor order status and regularly update clients.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales, operations, and management teams.
  • Resolve operational challenges proactively.

Target Achievement

  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Track daily sales performance and follow up on pending leads.
  • Support revenue growth through strategic follow-ups and relationship management.
  • Contribute to business expansion initiatives.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Maintain updated records of leads, conversions, and pending inquiries.
  • Analyze sales data and share business insights with management.
  • Monitor IndiaMART lead performance and conversion metrics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Any Graduate / Post Graduate (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Business Development / Product Management / Manufacturing Sales.
  • Experience in Personal Care, Beauty, or Cosmoceutical industry preferred.
  • Hands-on experience managing IndiaMART or similar B2B platforms is an advantage.
