About the role:

  • Support the payments product roadmap: Contribute to delivering intuitive, reliable, and best-in-class customer-facing payment experiences for our business account, across key use cases such as pay-ins, payouts, transfers, and transaction management.
  • Own payment use cases and journeys: Help define end-to-end user journeys for paymentscovering initiation, confirmation, tracking, errors, and retrieswith a strong focus on clarity, trust, and usability.
  • Strong UI/UX collaboration: Work closely with Product Design to shape payment flows, dashboards, transaction histories, and status messaging, ensuring flows are simple, consistent, and easy to understand.
  • Translate complexity into simple experiences: Partner with Engineering, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to convert underlying banking constraints and regulatory requirements into clean, customer-friendly workflows.
  • Track and analyse user behaviour: Support definition and monitoring of product metrics such as payment success rates, drop-offs, SLA adherence, etc.
  • Champion customer experience with compliance in mind: Ensure payment journeys balance regulatory requirements with transparent, predictable, and low-friction user experiences.
  • Contribute to continuous UX improvement: Identify friction points in payment flows and propose enhancements to copy, layouts, information hierarchy, and interaction design.
  • Assist with product discovery and validation: Support user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to validate payment use cases and UI changes before launch.

Minimum qualifications.

  • A minimum of 24 years experience in product management, business analysis, or operations in FinTech, payments, or digital banking.
  • Knowledge of payment workflows from a UX perspective.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile/product-led environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Has a strong grasp of AI concepts and the ability to apply AI tools and frameworks to improve onboarding and risk workflows..

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience with payments with focus on use cases such as payroll, supplier payments, international payments.
  • Understanding of payment systems in multiple markets (SEA, AU, US, EU).
  • Exposure to data-driven product development, dashboards, and analytics tools.
  • Experience in process automation (e.g. n8n) or AI-driven risk assessment solutions.
