Product Manager

Blackhawk's Risk team is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to join our Bangalore, India office and lead the development of innovative fraud prevention solutions that minimize losses while preserving a seamless experience for legitimate customers.

This role will enable Blackhawk to grow and launch new products without being impacted by bad actors. Because fraud can scale massively and quickly, automation strategy is key, and the individual must partner with stakeholders from commerce, incentives, security, compliance and risk.

The ideal candidate will own the execution of multiple Unified Risk product lines and work with product, engineering and risk management teams to launch applications and measure effectiveness. A strong understanding of payment fraud, device intelligence, behavior intelligence, automation and AI/ML is highly beneficial.

This includes, but not limited to:

Collaborate with Product Managers, business teams, engineers, and others to ensure proper prioritization of product features and execution.

Work closely with engineering in the development of Blackhawk's world class Content Distribution & Fulfillment platform for Prepaid - Open Loop, Closed Loop, Digital and Incentive products.

Work with technical teams, product managers and Agile scrum teams to define, design, and document features, risk infrastructure, data security, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrated success defining and shipping products in an iterative manner, with a hands-on willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution perspective.

Demonstrated understanding of payment flows and the methods bad actors use to take advantage of them.

Experience transforming product strategy into well-articulated product requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Strong product design skills, from a technical API and user interface design perspective to processing systems.

Ability and willingness to work with distributed Product, Engineering and Analytics and Operations teams located across Bangalore, Calicut and USA to assess and prioritize

deliverables while ensuring that they are aligned with product roadmap and business objectives.

Engage closely with the engineering team to determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.

Keep the Risk Product Team aware of any potential risk to the timelines and any impediments causing delays to expected deliverables.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience with minimum 3+ years in product management

Experience in launching applications addressing fraud prevention, and payment risk assessment preferred

Experience in managing end to product launches including experience in gathering user requirements and converting those into Epics and user stories.

Advanced analytical capabilities and good communication skills with ability to influence engineering teams

Experience working with engineering, data analytics and data science teams to build risk platform and services

Understand and experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Experience in managing applications powered by AI/ML modules is highly desirable
