Job Title: Product Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Job Summary:
The Product Manager is responsible for the lifecycle management of assigned pharmaceutical products, including strategy development, market analysis, product launch, and performance monitoring. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer needs, regulatory standards, and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Management:
- Develop and execute product strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Manage the product lifecycle, including new product launches, growth strategies, and sunsetting underperforming products.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Create and implement marketing plans, campaigns, and promotional activities to drive product awareness and sales.
- Develop product positioning, branding, and messaging to resonate with target audiences.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide training, promotional materials, and support.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely product development and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure adequate product availability.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, to gather insights and enhance product adoption.
Financial Performance:
- Set pricing strategies and manage product budgets to achieve profitability targets.
- Monitor sales performance and ROI of marketing initiatives, providing regular updates to leadership.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA/PGDM in Marketing is a plus).
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in product management, preferably in the Third party manufacturing.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and sales data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP tools.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
- Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.
