We are seeking a pioneer in AI-native product management who embeds AI across the entire software development lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, testing, release, and continuous optimization. In this role, you will not simply use AI tools you will redefine how products are built, driving meaningful improvements in speed, quality, and decision-making.

You will lead by example by integrating generative AI and emerging capabilities into daily workflows, and act as a force multiplier across the organization by scaling best practices, shaping new ways of working, and elevating the Product Management craft. This role requires both deep domain expertise in interoperability and a forward-looking mindset to operationalize AI as a core competency alongside APIs, data exchange, and platform strategy

Team summary:

The Clinical Foundations zone focuses on building core interoperability capabilities that enable seamless data exchange and integrated workflows across healthcare systems. By identifying shared needs and providing centralized governance, development, and tooling, the zone drives innovation, scalability, and operational efficiency across Clinicals R&D. This approach empowers teams to deliver interoperable solutions that improve data accessibility, support integrated workflows, and enhance care delivery.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

. Lead AI-native product development by embedding AI across the full software development lifecycle, accelerating discovery, shaping solution design, enhancing development workflows, improving test coverage, and optimizing post-release iteration

. Set the standard for AI adoption by demonstrating how AI drives measurable improvements in cycle time, output quality, and strategic clarity across product teams

. Develop deep expertise in clinical workflows, interoperability standards, and API-driven data exchange to inform product strategy and execution

. Define and execute on a product vision and roadmap that aligns with Clinical Foundations and broader interoperability platform goals, including regulatory requirements

. Lead API platform modernization efforts to improve scalability, performance, and developer experience

. Act as Product Owner for scrum teams, managing backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and day-to-day product decisions

. Ensure visibility into system performance and reliability by supporting tooling for monitoring, scaling, and exception handling

. Scale AI best practices by sharing learnings, frameworks, and reusable patterns to elevate AI adoption across the broader R&D and Product Management organization

Additional Job Responsibilities:

. Support go-to-market readiness by partnering with internal teams on release communication, enablement, and adoption planning.

. Document product decisions, workflows, standards considerations, and release scope to improve transparency and continuity.

. Contribute to product discovery efforts by gathering feedback from users, internal stakeholders, and adjacent teams.

. Review interoperability trends, customer requests, and market signals to identify opportunities for future enhancements.

. Coordinate dependencies across teams working on shared platform capabilities or integrated workflows.

. Participate in release reviews, sprint ceremonies, and cross-functional planning sessions to maintain alignment.

. Assist with defining reporting and dashboards that track product health, delivery progress, and outcome metrics.

. Promote consistent product management practices, including clear acceptance criteria, measurable goals, and structured prioritization.

. Partner with compliance, legal, or security stakeholders as needed to support responsible product delivery in healthcare contexts.

Expected Education & Experience:

. 7-12 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related roles in software or platform environments.

. Demonstrated experience developing and executing product strategy and translating strategy into roadmap and delivery outcomes.

. Strong experience in product management practices, including discovery, prioritization, backlog management, requirement definition, and release planning.

. Experience working as a Product Owner or in a closely related role within agile product development environments.

. Knowledge of US healthcare workflows, interoperability needs, and healthcare technology product contexts.

. Hands-on experience with interoperability standards and data exchange concepts, including FHIR and HL7 CCD.

. Experience working on or supporting AI-native product capabilities, workflows, or feature concepts, with the ability to evaluate appropriate use and product impact.

. Ability to work effectively with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.

. Strong communication skills with experience presenting product direction, tradeoffs, and outcomes to stakeholders at different levels.

. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
