Role Overview-
The Product Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing the Finance Against Securities (FAS) module, covering products such as equity shares, mutual funds, fixed deposits, government securities, and other approved securities. The role requires strong domain understanding, product ownership, and close collaboration with business, technology, and risk teams.
Key Responsibilities-
- Own end-to-end product management of the Finance Against Securities module.
- Define and manage comprehensive risk management capabilities, including:
- Credit approval
- Lodgement and pledge marking of securities
- Drawing Power (DP) calculation and monitoring
- Corporate action handling
- Periodic revaluation of securities
- Oversee and manage operational and system processes such as:
- Balance upload processes
- Market rate upload processes
- Pledge reconciliation processes.
- Other regulatory and operational uploads.
- Manage lifecycle events including additional lodgement, withdrawal, and security swap.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define product roadmap, and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of lending products backed by financial securities.
- Experience in product management, business analysis, or solution design within BFSI.
- Familiarity with risk, collateral management, and post-sanction processes.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technology, operations, and risk teams.
