- Experienced HRIS professional
- Proven expertise in Workday
- Strong integration expertise, ideally with SnapLogic or similar integration platform
- Understanding and experience of Enterprise/Solution architecture methodologies
- Experience developing in Agile Methodology
- Experience with enterprise integration tools
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies
- Experience sourcing data from SaaS or Cloud-based applications desired (e.g., Workday)
- Experience working with remote development teams (on and off-shore a plus)
- Understanding of product management, Agile project management, and system management methodology
- Ability to share and communicate ideas, both orally and in writing to HRIS team, technical resources and vendor support in clear language
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovation mindset
- Strong analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies.
- Quick to embrace new technologies and ability to train others
- Works well in a fast paced, Agile environment, focused on minimum viable product and continuous review and improvement
- Must be able to execute projects involving multiple teams with supervision, must be proactive

- Must be open to work during off hours/days as the need may arise
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing integrations and/or web services using various methods (e.g., API Protocols and data formats, such as REST, JSON, SOAP & XML)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Establish strategic roadmaps for key platforms, including Workday and SnapLogic
- Provide expert guidance/assistance to the team on technical aspects, especially on problem solving and performance tuning
- Research alternate solutions and educate team on industry trends
- Collaborate with HRIS teams, especially Product Delivery, Product Marketing, and Consulting, to provide solution design and plan implementation approach
- Work effectively in a distributed, virtual, global team environment
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various HRIS organizations to ensure consistent, supportable, and effective use of platforms
- Establish self as subject matter expert (SME) for efficient/effective use of the HRIS platforms (earn Trusted Advisor status).
- Collaborate with and support Solution Consulting to understand customer trends, requirements and assess opportunities
- Focus on continuous improvement and stability within the platforms
- Establish and maintain an effective relationship with platform vendors to understand software release schedules, roadmap of product features, development best practices, etc.
- Manage relevant platform updates per vendor guidelines and best practices (including software patches, updates, security and new deployment of new capability)
- Participate in planning meetings and provide platform perspective to the team
- Assist in the development of project plans related to the platform (including change and risk management)
- Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business
- Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources
- Conduct review of development efforts to ensure consistent methodologies and best practices are followed and to make recommendations where necessary
- Manage the platform lifecycle and establish a mid-term strategic roadmap
