Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of new and existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Create detailed product specifications, designs, and prototypes using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Conduct design analysis (FEA, CFD, etc.) and simulations to optimize product performance and reduce costs.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that components meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate product testing, validation, and certification processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering and design issues during the product development cycle.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly phases to resolve product-related challenges.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, assembly instructions, and user manuals.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, new materials, and technologies to innovate and improve products.
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and resource planning for product development.
- Support product launch activities, including coordination of marketing, training, and customer support.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical development and problem-solving.
