Product Engineer II

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in place and route (P&R) methodologies for Cadence customers and R&D teams
• Work across the complete RTL-to-GDSII flow with strong focus on physical design and implementation stages
• Analyze and resolve complex customer issues related to timing closure, routing, and PPA optimization
• Support silicon signoff activities at advanced technology nodes (16nm and below)
• Test, validate, and deploy enhancements for Innovus and related digital implementation tools
• Collaborate with R&D teams to discuss test results, tool behavior, and feature improvements
• Debug customer-reported issues and ensure timely resolution through coordination with release teams
• Run design benchmarks and develop optimized implementation flows and solutions
• Support Cadence Digital Implementation and Signoff product suite
• Gather, analyze, and document tool issues to drive continuous product improvement
