The Role
We are seeking Product Development Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize formulations for mouthwashes, toothpaste, gels, and other oral hygiene products.
- Conduct stability studies, pH and viscosity testing, and microbial preservation testing.
- Work with ingredients such as alcohols, essential oils, surfactants, flavors, and preservatives.
- Troubleshoot formulation issues (e.g., settling, separation, flavor loss).
- Ensure formulations comply with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., BIS, FDA, ISO).Interface with procurement, QA/QC, and production teams.
Ideal Profile
- B.Pharmacy / M.Pharmacy / M.Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
- 13 years of experience in personal care or oral care product development.
- Strong knowledge of solubilizers, preservatives, emulsions, and stability protocols.
- Familiarity with GMP documentation and lab-scale to production-scale transitions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in alcohol-based and non-alcoholic mouthwash development.
- Experience in toothpaste formulation preferred.
- Basic knowledge of flavor and fragrance blending.
