About The Role
We're looking for a Designer to join our early team and help shape our product vision of empowering local SMBs. You will play a critical role in translating our vision into reality, creating amazing and delightful experiences for our users. If you're passionate about design, user-obsessed, and have a knack for building intuitive mobile and desktop UX, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex marketing concepts for our non-tech-savvy users.
- Conduct extensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests, to deeply understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of our target audience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and facilitate seamless handoff to development.
- Take ownership of the entire design process, from ideation to implementation, continually iterating and refining based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions, advocating for user needs and ensuring that design remains a key consideration in all product decisions.
- Establish and maintain design standards, style guides, and best practices that ensure consistency and quality across all aspects of the user experience.
Good To Have
- 4-6 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and impact.
- Proven ability to design for non-tech-savvy users, simplifying complex concepts and workflows into intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces.
- Extensive experience conducting user research, synthesizing insights, and translating findings into actionable design recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and build consensus across teams.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React is a plus, as it will enable you to collaborate more effectively with development teams.
