Product Designer

URGENT POSITION TO BE FILLED – Vasai East, MH

NOTE: Candidates should be located near Vasai East / Western Line / Mira Road / Bhayandar / Vasai / Virar / Naigaon / Borivali side or more nearby areas who can commute daily.

Salary: 4.50 to 6 LPA [MAX]

Non-Negotiable:

• Candidates should comfortable with 10-hour duty schedule
• Candidate must have strong leadership and team handling ability
• Must be capable of independently leading the design department
• Pharma/tooling industry experience is highly preferred
• Stability in previous organizations will be an advantage
• Practical manufacturing exposure is important, not only software knowledge

Required Skills:

• Mandatory Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Related Mechanical/Production Engineering field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in below parameters...
• Tablet Tooling Design (punch & die tooling, pharma tooling components, tooling development)
• CAD Software Expertise (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, 2D drafting, 3D modeling)
• Mechanical Design Engineering (Mechanical components, industrial design, engineering drawings)
• CNC Machining Knowledge (CNC manufacturing, machining processes, tooling materials)
• Technical Drawing & Tolerancing (GD&T, tolerances, specifications, revision control)
• Pharma Engineering Exposure (GMP compliance, pharmaceutical equipment/tooling)
• Design Modification & Development (Product improvement, customer customization, tooling enhancement)
• Manufacturing Coordination (Production coordination, QC coordination, cross-functional collaboration)
• Leadership & Team Handling (Team management, leading design engineers/draughtsman, mentoring)
• Problem Solving & Troubleshooting (Tooling issue resolution, analytical skills, process improvement)

Description:

We are looking for a strong Design Head with min 3+ years of hands-on experience in tablet tooling or pharma engineering manufacturing. The candidate must have solid expertise in AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Creo, tooling design, CNC manufacturing understanding, and technical drawing accuracy. Leadership capability is extremely important, as the person will manage the complete design department and coordinate with production, QC, and sales teams. Candidates should preferably come from tablet tooling, pharma engineering, or precision engineering industries and must live close to Vasai East or be comfortable with daily commuting.
