Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled professional who can bridge the gap between product design and metal fabrication, playing a key role in both digital and physical product development. This hybrid position combines the creativity and user-centric mindset of a Senior Digital Product Designer with the technical precision and hands-on expertise of a Senior Sheet Metal Fabricator.
Responsibilities:
Digital Product Design:
- Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and product experiences for digital platforms.
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, and development teams to conceptualize, wireframe, prototype, and launch digital products.
Mechanical & Sheet Metal Fabrication:
- Interpret and understand mechanical engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Fabricate sheet metal components using equipment such as press brakes, shears, grinders, and welders.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Apply strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles to design structurally sound and functional products.
- Interpret and convert technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models into physical components using fabrication tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Design (digital or physical) and Sheet Metal Fabrication.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both digital product design and fabrication experience.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
