We are a design-led brand at a meaningful stage of growth, with a new Gurgaon design studio at the centre of our next chapter.
The Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to own new product development at Brick Brown — from brief to sample to launch. You will work directly with the founders to develop new SKUs across our existing wooden accessories range and new categories we are expanding into. This is a hands-on role — you will be sketching, sampling, and iterating on physical products, not just designing on screen.
What You Will Own
- New SKU development — from category brief to final approved sample
- Material research and vendor collaboration for new product categories in coordination with sourcing team.
- Sketches, technical drawings, and sample briefs for production teams
- Aesthetic direction on product finishes, colours, and packaging alignment
- Maintaining and updating the product development pipeline
- Coordinating with sourcing and production teams on feasibility and cost
What We Need
- 3–5 years in product or industrial design — physical products, not purely digital
- Experience in home décor, furniture, lifestyle, kitchenware, or gifting categories
- Comfortable going from sketch to sample — you have done this before
- Strong material sensibility — wood, ceramic, metal, textile
- An eye for premium, minimal, quiet luxury aesthetics — you know what elevated looks like
- Based in or willing to relocate to Gurgaon, NCR
Strong Fit If You Have
- Experience working with Indian craft clusters — wood, ceramic, or textile
- Worked in a D2C or consumer brand environment
- Familiarity with Amazon listing requirements and e-commerce product photography
