About Us
Asper.ai is a cutting-edge AI-based SaaS company focused on revolutionizing enterprise decision making, through demand planning and Revenue growth management for the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
We're looking for a Product Designer who cares deeply about getting the problem right before designing the solution. You'll design AI-first product experiences in close collaboration with product, engineering, and data science—turning complex capabilities into tools people can actually trust and use
This role is a good fit if you:
- Think in systems and workflows, not just screens
- Ask thoughtful questions before proposing solutions
- Are comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping direction
What You'll Do
- Own problems end‑to‑end, from early discovery to shipped product
- Design for complexity—workflows, decision systems, and data‑heavy interfaces
- Make AI usable, not magical—focus on clarity, control, and trust
- Shape product direction, not just UI—influence what gets built and why
- Design for scale—create reusable patterns, systems, and thoughtful abstractions
- Use research and data to inform decisions, not justify them later
- Partner deeply with engineers and data scientists through implementation, not just handoff
What We Value
- Asking What problem are we solving before jumping to solutions
- Comfort with balancing user value, business value, constraints, and trade‑offs
- Ability to move from problem framing to well‑reasoned design decisions
- Prioritizing clarity over cleverness in design
Education (Must‑Have)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design (e.g., Communication Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Visual Design, or UX Design) from a recognized design college or design school
What You'll Bring
Experience
- 4–5 years of experience designing and shipping real products (web and/or mobile)
- Experience with B2B products or complex workflows (a strong plus)
- Bonus: Experience with AI, analytics, or decision‑support tools
Craft & Thinking
- Strong fundamentals in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
- Ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive, usable experiences
- Comfort working with ambiguity, trade‑offs, and constraints
Ways of Working
- Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
- Comfort working closely with cross‑functional teams
- Ability to clearly articulate design thinking—not just present screens
AI Awareness
- Practical familiarity with AI tools in your workflow
- Thoughtful judgment about where AI adds value and where humans should remain in control
Application Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end product work
- Clear articulation of the problem, process, decisions, and impact
- Work demonstrating complex systems, workflows, or AI/data‑heavy products is strongly preferred
