We are seeking a Product Design Intern to join the Design team at Tartan and support the creation of dashboard-driven products and complex user workflows. In this role, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate product requirements into intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
You will assist in user research, wireframing, UI exploration, and iterative design enhancements across web-based products. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world design systems, large-scale problem solving, and product decision-making within a fast-paced SaaS environment. It is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your UX foundation and understand how high-impact SaaS products are designed, refined, and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in translating product and business requirements into clear user flows and design concepts
- Create wireframes, UI explorations, and basic high-fidelity designs for web products
- Support iterative design improvements based on feedback from stakeholders and users
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design teams
- Ensure visual consistency, alignment, and adherence to design system standards
Candidate Requirements & Skills
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Figma, including frames, components, variants, auto-layout, and prototyping
- Ability to create clean wireframes and basic high-fidelity UI with minimal guidance
- Good understanding of UX fundamentals, including user flows, information hierarchy, states, and edge cases
- Comfortable working in an iterative environment and adapting designs based on feedback and constraints
- Strong attention to detail in spacing, alignment, and visual consistency
- B. Tech/ B. E in product design
- 6 month /1 year internship duration
