About the Role
We're looking for a Product Designer who can take full ownership of shaping and scaling 1Fi's product experience from the ground up. You will work closely with the founding team to design intuitive, high-impact user journeys across web and mobile that bring to life India's first security-backed pay-later platform.
This is not a task-based role. It's a builder role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, thinks in systems, moves fast, and enjoys turning complex financial workflows into simple, trustworthy, and delightful user experiences.
What You Will Do
- Own end-to-end product design across key user journeys onboarding, discovery, checkout, loan flows, repayments, and account management
- Translate complex financial and lending concepts into clear, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces
- Design wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile
- Work closely with founders, product, tech, and operations to shape product direction and prioritisation
- Establish and evolve 1Fi's design language, UI patterns, and interaction principles
- Think deeply about trust, clarity, and conversion in a regulated fintech environment
- Rapidly iterate based on user feedback, data insights, and internal reviews
- Ensure consistency, accessibility, and high design quality across the entire product
- Contribute to product thinking beyond visuals flow logic, edge cases, and user psychology
Who You Are
- 03 years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or digital product design
- Strong understanding of user flows, information architecture, and interaction design
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into elegant, intuitive experiences
- Comfortable working independently from problem definition to final execution
- High attention to detail with a strong visual and interaction sensibility
- Experience designing for web and/or mobile products (B2C preferred)
- Familiar with design tools like Figma and prototyping workflows
- High-ownership mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment
- Prior exposure to fintech, financial products, or regulated products is a strong plus
