What we do
Lucidity is a company that provides an automated NoOps disk auto-scaler for cloud storage across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It addresses over-provisioned block storage by dynamically scaling capacity, increasing disk utilization to around 80% from 25-35%. This results in cost reductions of up to 70% for businesses. Role Overview
We are looking for a UX/UI Intern who is passionate about crafting seamless digital experiences. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to design interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-centric.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for all Lucidity products.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into design solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to improve product experience.
- Assist in building and maintaining design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
- Stay updated with design trends, SaaS UX best practices, and emerging tools.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in UX principles, visual design, and interaction design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma mandatory
- Knowledge of prototyping and usability testing methodologies.
- Exposure to SaaS, cloud or enterprise product design, Web applications.
- A portfolio showcasing UX/UI projects (academic, freelance, or personal).
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React) for design handoff.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
