Responsibilities:
Design & Development
- Design and develop Wiring Harness schematics in line with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Define and select connectors, fuses, and related electrical components based on system specifications.
- Develop and maintain CAN topology while ensuring alignment with overall vehicle electrical architecture.
System Integration & Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Interpret and implement engineering standards, design guidelines, and MB norms and processes.
- Support system-level understanding of ECUs, control systems, and electrical/electronic functions within passenger cars.
Continuous Improvement & Technology Advancement
- Drive continuous improvement by incorporating future technological advancements such as High Voltage and Battery systems.
Technical Tools & Expertise
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as Unigraphics NX, Ldorado, E3-Cable, and PREEVision.
- Awareness and experience with PLM systems for design documentation and lifecycle management.
