Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Product Manager to build and scale lending products tailored for the US Lending market. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in consumer or business lending, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, compliant, and customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for US lending products (personal loans, mortgages, auto loans, or SMB lending)
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the US lending ecosystem
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, risk, compliance, and business teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Ensure compliance with US financial regulations (e.g., CFPB, Fair Lending, KYC/AML guidelines)
  • Optimize customer journeys across acquisition, underwriting, disbursement, and servicing.
  • Use data analytics and customer insights to drive product decisions and improvements.
  • Define and track KPIs such as conversion rates, approval rates, NPS, and portfolio performance
  • Work closely with credit and risk teams to refine underwriting models and policies
  • Manage integrations with third-party services (credit bureaus, payment gateways, identity verification providers)

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of US lending landscape
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, including profit & loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow analysis
  • Proficient in credit analysis and risk assessment methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate lending products, including term loans and revolving credit facilities
  • Familiar with commercial real estate (CRE) loan structures and underwriting principles
  • Experience in small and medium-sized business (SMB) lending practices
  • Understanding of asset-based lending (ABL), including collateral evaluation and borrowing base calculations
  • Knowledge of syndicated loan structures, participant roles, and deal execution
  • Should possess a strong understanding of key financial regulatory authorities, including the Federal Reserve, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
  • Should possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end credit ecosystem, including credit bureau operations, credit scoring methodologies, customer servicing, collections, restructuring, loan disbursement processes, repayment scheduling, interest accrual mechanisms, delinquency tracking, system integrations, and regulatory reporting and compliance.
