Product Manager - Credit Builder
Work experience - 5+ years (3+ years in product management is a must )
Domain - Product management
About Role
We're looking for a seasoned product manager to own our Credit Builder product end-to-end helping everyday consumers build, repair, and strengthen their credit profiles. Credit domain expertise is the foundation of this role. AI is not an afterthought: it's woven into how we personalise experiences, coach users toward better financial habits, and scale outcomes .
You will own both the core product and the AI-powered layer on top of it .
Core responsibilities
A) Product ownership
- Own the Credit Builder product roadmap — prioritise features that directly improve credit score outcomes, user retention, and activation rates for new-to-credit and credit-repair segments
- Define and track the right success metrics: credit score improvement rates, on-time payment rates, product engagement and churn metrics
- Lead deep customer discovery with underbanked, credit-thin, and rebuilding-credit consumers. Translate nuanced financial anxieties into product opportunities and work closely with the marketing team to tap into the right customer cohort and align product roadmap
- Work closely with Third parties , Backend engineers, Data scientists , UI designers and front end developers to launch new features and monitor closely on Key KPI's defined for success
- Drive the full experimentation program — hypothesis-driven A/B tests on onboarding, repayment nudges, Credit building tips, and reporting features.
- Closely monitor the Data sanity across the third party data source and the features logic
- Conduct regular product market fit research to continuously evolve the product
- Owning the User communication front - Campaign on Email / Push notifications/ SMS etc .
B) AI layer integration
- Define the AI product strategy for Credit Builder: identify which user problems are best solved through intelligent automation, personalization, or predictive nudging — and build the roadmap accordingly
- Partner with data science and ML engineers to design, ship, and iterate on AI-driven features: personalized credit coaching, smart repayment reminders, risk-adjusted limit graduation, and behavior-based interventions
- Own the quality bar for AI outputs — define what good looks like for model recommendations, set evaluation criteria, and hold the team accountable to user outcomes, not just model metrics
- Ensure AI features meet fairness, explainability, and compliance standards. Work with legal and risk to audit models for bias and document decisions for regulators
- Instrument AI features with the right telemetry — track recommendation acceptance rates, downstream score impact, and user trust signals to drive continuous improvement
