The most recent addition to the noon ecosystem, the noon Food mission is to revolutionize the F&B delivery landscape, firmly putting the control and success back in the hands of retailers.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Analyst to partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to drive data-informed product decisions. You will work hands-on with large datasets to uncover insights that improve user adoption, engagement, and business outcomes.
Beyond core product analytics, this role requires strong proficiency in Python and a foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs). You will use these skills to deepen analysis, automate workflows, and prototype AI-assisted analytical use casesmoving beyond what happened to why it happened and what to do next.
Key Responsibilities
Product Insights & Experimentation
- Deliver diagnostic and prescriptive insights by identifying root causes behind changes in key product metrics.
- Analyze end-to-end user journeys and funnels to identify friction points and growth opportunities.
- Evaluate the impact of product features, UX changes, and launches using clearly defined success metrics.
- Design and analyze A/B tests in partnership with Product Managers, ensuring statistical rigor and clear recommendations.
- Define and maintain core product metrics (North Star, leading indicators, feature KPIs).
Advanced Analytics & AI Enablement
- Use Python (pandas, numpy, notebooks) for deep-dive analysis, exploratory work, and rapid prototyping.
- Build lightweight Python workflows to automate recurring analyses, experiment readouts, and reporting.
- Apply LLMs for exploratory analysis and qualitative insights (e.g., user feedback, support tickets).
- Prototype basic LLM-powered internal tools such as automated insight summaries or analytics copilots, while applying sound analytical judgment.
Data Foundations & Communication
- Build scalable datasets and self-serve metrics for Product Managers and stakeholders.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define event tracking and ensure data quality.
- Create clear dashboards and communicate insights through crisp, decision-oriented narratives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in Product Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related role in a product-driven environment.
- Product & Business Acumen: Strong intuition for how product changes impact user behavior and business metrics.
- SQL: Strong proficiency with large datasets and complex queries.
- Python: Hands-on experience with pandas/numpy and notebook-based analysis; ability to build quick analytical prototypes.
- LLM Fundamentals: Basic understanding of LLMs, prompting, limitations, and trade-offs; experience using LLM tools or APIs is a plus.
- Experimentation: Solid understanding of A/B testing and statistical concepts.
- Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar, with a focus on clarity and storytelling.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience applying LLMs to real product or analytics problems.
- Familiarity with embeddings, semantic search, or basic NLP techniques.
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
- Exposure to experimentation or feature-flagging platforms.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts.
