Job Description

Product Analyst

Analyze user behavior, product metrics, and business performance to help product team figure out what's working, what's not, and what to build next.

Act as bridge between data and product strategy, using tools like SQL and dashboards to surface insights that drive growth, improve user experience, and guide prioritization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Performance Monitoring & KPI Tracking: Continuously monitor core product health metrics such as Daily/Monthly Active Users (DAU/MAU), funnel drop-offs, and install-to-disbursal success rates.
  • Experimentation & A/B Testing: Design and evaluate experiments (A/B and multivariate tests) to measure the impact of new features or user interface changes on conversion and engagement.
  • Automation & Alerting: Design and implement automated monitoring systems and anomaly detection alerts to identify performance regressions or technical glitches in real-time, ensuring rapid response to product issues.
  • Funnel Optimization: Identify friction points in critical user journeys and suggest data-backed improvements to reduce drop-offs.
  • Dashboard Development: Build and maintain automated, real-time dashboards using tools like Tableau to provide self-serve insights for stakeholders.
  • User Discovery & Behavioral Research: Conduct deep-dive analyses into user segments to understand the why behind behaviors, often correlating conversion rate with demographics or credit profile.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Design, Risk/Credit, and Marketing teams to ensure data integrity, define success criteria for new releases, and align product roadmaps with business goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering or Business from a reputed college or university.
  • Relevant experience of 2 to 4 Years in product/business analytics.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and proficient in Excel , SQL ( or any relational database ); Python skills are good to have.
  • Excellent critical thinking and prior experience in performing root cause analysis .
  • Prior working knowledge of any visualisation tool such as Tableau, Metabase, Mixpanel, etc
  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Good organizational skills for prioritizing and manage time to set right expectations on deliverables/timelines
