At Bureau, we manage a complex ecosystem of over 120+ API services that power trust for the internet. We are looking for a Product Analyst Intern to help us measure, benchmark, and optimize this massive infrastructure.

You will not just be looking at spreadsheets; you will be evaluating the performance of our core identity and fraud products to tell us where we are winning and where we need to improve. You will work directly with Product Leadership to drive these improvements.

What you'll be doing

• Foundation & Data Quality: You will own the data sourcing engine for our OCR models. This includes sourcing new document types, ensuring decent volume for each type, and tagging data to create high-quality training sets.
• Performance Benchmarking: Systematically evaluate our 120+ API services against internal standards and external competitors. You will identify latency issues, success rate drops, and coverage gaps to ensure we stay best-in-class.
• Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze transaction data to uncover opportunities for product optimization. You will answer questions like: Why did this verification fail and How can we improve conversion rates for this specific segment
• Impact Reporting: Translate raw data into actionable insights. You will utilize SQL and data visualization to recommend specific upgrades to our tech stack to the Engineering and Product teams.

What You'll Bring

• Education: Final year student or recent graduate in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a business-related field with a heavy analytical focus.
• Skills:
• Data Fluency: You are comfortable with SQL and handling large datasets. You can query data and find the story inside the numbers.
• Technical Aptitude: You don't need to be a software engineer, but you must be comfortable understanding how APIs work and how data flows through a system.
• Mindset: You are a go-getter. You don't wait for permission to fix a data error; you identify it, report it, and propose a solution.
