What You'll Do

The HR Digital Product Portfolio is the largest & most dynamic product portfolio within BCG's Digital Products Organization. We enable the global technology for BCG's entire HR & People Function including Recruiting, Staffing, Mobility, L&D, Teaming, Compensation, and Workday. Over the past two years, the HR Portfolio has more than doubled in size, and there is more growth to come.

With this growth comes amazing new opportunities, including as the Product Analyst for our Candidate Engagement squad focused on delivering against our robust Recruiting Technology agenda. The Product Analyst is a team player who is passionate about serving customers & inspiring their teams and excited to be an ambassador for the organization's Agile ways of working. This role will focus on delivering the digital agenda for important Recruiting Technology priorities - including feature development for two new technologies currently being rolled out as part of a major Digital Transformation for Recruiting.

As a Product Analyst within our Digital Product Portfolio, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our recruiting technology systems, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). You will work with cross-functional teams through the design and implementation of technology solutions that enhance our recruiting processes and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

You will be responsible for developing and presenting new business cases for continued investments into our Recruiting technology systems. You will represent the voice of the customer, whether internal or external, and make sure that squad priorities are aligned to business needs. You will do this through a deep functional understanding of recruiting process design coupled with a strong technical background. Successful product analysts will manage conversations with functional stakeholders from recruiting leadership and turn those discussions into action with the support of their squad members. You will coordinate closely with Product Owners and the Product Team Lead to stay aligned on business goals and make sure your squad is progressing and delivering against them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritization and Backlog Management: Collaborate effectively with the Product Owner to lead the prioritization process, ensuring alignment with stakeholders to maintain a well-organized and dynamic product backlog. This includes assessing and ranking features and tasks based on strategic goals, customer needs, and business value.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution. Provide key inputs into strategy sessions, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other strategic meetings.
  • Customer-Centric Development: Advocate for incremental development practices, ensuring that new, valuable features are regularly released. Translate customer insights into actionable user stories, enhancing the functionality and usability of the ATS and CRM systems.
  • Feature Development: Collaborate with functional stakeholders, technical resources, and vendors to implement and roll out new product functionality based on prioritization
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize empirical data and qualitative research to inform decision-making processes, particularly in feature prioritization.
  • Continuous Learning: Commit to ongoing customer engagement through surveys, interviews, and direct feedback to deepen understanding of user needs and enhance product offerings.



What You'll Bring

Experience: At least 4 years in a Product Analyst role or similar, preferably within recruiting technology or HR systems. A strong functional understanding of recruiting processes and technology-driven business transformation is essential.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in agile methodologies, with a preference for candidates having experience in iCIMS or Eightfold systems.

  • Leadership: Collaborate with Product Team, Portfolio, and Talent Acquisition Leadership to align on vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Technical Experts: Coordinate with Technical Chapter Leads to ensure alignment between technical architecture and product configuration.
