Job Title: Procurement Team Lead

Job Type: Full-time

LEDFlex Group was established in 2010 after identifying a gap in the market for a more comprehensive range of linear lighting products and has now grown into a leading technology supplier. We design, develop and manufacture LED lighting solutions for the UK and International markets. At LEDFlex we continue to lead the way in performance, efficiency and ecological friendly exterior and interior projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Operations Lead with experience to oversee purchase order management, supplier coordination, inventory tracking, and procurement process compliance.This role is ideal for a strong procurement professional ready to take ownership

of day-to-day procurement operations while supporting team coordination and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across procurement activities while contributing to continuous process improvement.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Procurement Operations & Purchase Order Oversight
  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring timely and accurate creation, approval, and issuance of POs in line with company policies.
  • Review and approve purchase orders for accuracy of specifications, pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure procurement data integrity across ERP and procurement systems, maintaining high standards of documentation and audit readiness.
  • Establish and enforce procurement best practices, controls, and standard operating

procedures.

  • Team Leadership & Management
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the procurement team, providing clear direction, workload prioritisation, and performance feedback.
  • Allocate tasks across the team to ensure operational efficiency and service-level adherence.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex procurement issues and supplier challenges.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of procurement team members in collaboration with HR.
  • Supplier Management & Coordination
  • Oversee supplier communications, including order confirmations, delivery coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics and lead corrective actions or improvement initiatives where required.
  • Ensure timely collection and validation of supplier documentation (invoices, packing lists, compliance certificates, etc.).
  • Inventory Monitoring & Delivery Management
  • Oversee inbound delivery tracking and coordination with warehouse, production, and logistics teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels to proactively identify risks related to shortages, delays, or excess stock.
  • Ensure delivery timelines and expected arrivals are accurately maintained in procurement and tracking systems.
  • Support demand planning and operational continuity through proactive procurement planning.
  • Discrepancy Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Ensure verification of supplier documentation against purchase orders and contractual terms.
  • Lead the identification, investigation, and resolution of discrepancies in pricing, specifications, quantities, or documentation.
  • Coordinate with Data, Finance, Technical, and Operations teams to resolve procurementrelated issues efficiently.
  • Implement preventive measures to reduce recurring mismatches and errors.
  • Reporting, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Oversee the preparation and review of procurement reports, KPIs, and management summaries.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement workflows, systems usage, and supplier engagement models.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost control, and service quality.

Qualification & Required Skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

  • 35 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Hands-on experience managing purchase orders within an ERP system.
  • Exposure to supplier coordination and documentation validation.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional operational environment.

Technical Skills

  • Strong ERP and procurement system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Strong understanding of procurement controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
