Procurement Specialist

Principle Responsibilities

Procurement of Gas & Chemical handling equipment and components.

New vendor development: Actively engaging in activities to develop new vendors including qualification and audit.

Strategic Procurement: Plan procurement activities to align with organization strategy including developing alternate vendors, diversifying supply chain, supporting optimization of project costing. Negotiations: Actively engage with vendors on commercial negotiations.

Contract management: Develop new contracts with vendors to ensure stable and economically viable supply chain. Commercial: Ensure competitive pricing from vendors with most competitive payment and other terms with vendors while ensuring minimum DPO.

Inventory Management: Ensure effective management of inventories to ensure successful completion of projects.

Demand Planning: Ensure proper demand planning across the departments and timely fulfilment.

Qualification & Experience

5-8 years experience in procurement activities.

Chemical/Mechanical industries background preferred.

Experience in import/export activities.

Preferably B.Tech. (Chemical/Mechanical)

Salary-4.00 to 7.00 Lacs PA
