We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist with 3-5 years of experience in FMCG industry to oversee and streamline our sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Vendor Development & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost optimization.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Ensure a smooth supply of raw materials and packaging materials while maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Manage procurement budgets, monitor market price fluctuations, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured materials meet industry standards and company quality guidelines.
- Market & Industry Analysis: Keep track of trends, supplier performance, and emerging opportunities in the FMCG sector.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and minimize risks.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain all purchase records, supplier agreements, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Team Management & Coordination: Lead the procurement team and collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams for seamless operations.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in procurement (FMCG industry mandatory).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of raw material sourcing, packaging materials, and vendor management in FMCG.
- Negotiation & Vendor Relations: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build long-term supplier relationships.
- Analytical & Decision-Making Skills: Ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Leadership & Team Management: Experience in leading procurement teams and cross-functional coordination.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
