Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist with strong knowledge of petrochemical parts sourcing, particularly from the Asian market. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing suppliers, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely procurement of industrial and petrochemical components.
This is a part-time, remote role, suitable for professionals looking for flexible working hours while contributing their expertise to a growing procurement operation.
Key Responsibilities- Source and procure petrochemical and industrial parts, primarily from Asian suppliers
- Identify reliable vendors and manage supplier relationships
- Request, evaluate, and negotiate quotations to achieve cost-effective solutions
- Coordinate with suppliers on lead times, documentation, and shipment readiness
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and procurement requirements
- Support ongoing procurement activities and resolve supply-related issues
Required Qualifications & Experience- Proven experience in procurement of petrochemical or industrial parts
- Strong knowledge of the Asian supplier market (India, China, Southeast Asia, etc.)
- Experience in supplier negotiation and cost optimization
- Good understanding of procurement documentation and logistics coordination
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely
Preferred Skills- Familiarity with international sourcing
- Experience working with EPC, refinery, or petrochemical projects
- Proficiency in email communication, Excel, and basic procurement tools
