Role Overview
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations for Zyeta's workplace design and build projects in Bengaluru.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can build strong vendor ecosystems, drive cost optimization, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services required for project execution.
The Procurement Manager acts as a critical link between design, project, and vendor teams, ensuring that procurement processes are structured, efficient, and aligned with project timelines and quality standards.
You are someone who brings discipline, negotiation strength, and operational clarity to procurement while ensuring Zyeta's projects are supported with the right partners, materials, and commercial structures.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Execution
Lead procurement activities for workplace design and build projects across Bengaluru.
Develop sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors.
Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and execution timelines.
Work closely with design and project teams to understand material specifications and project requirements.
Drive cost optimization while maintaining Zyeta's quality standards.
Vendor Development & Management
Build and maintain a strong network of vendors, contractors, and suppliers across key categories such as civil works, interiors, furniture, lighting, and MEP.
Identify and onboard new vendors to strengthen Zyeta's supply ecosystem.
Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain vendor performance records.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and service agreements with vendors.
Ensure vendors meet Zyeta's expectations on quality, timelines, and compliance.
Commercial Negotiation & Cost Management
Lead price negotiations with vendors to achieve the most competitive commercial terms.
Prepare comparative statements and cost analysis for procurement decisions.
Monitor project procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Ensure procurement decisions support overall project profitability.
Procurement Planning & Coordination
Collaborate with project managers and site teams to plan procurement timelines aligned with project schedules.
Track material orders, deliveries, and vendor commitments to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
Maintain clear procurement schedules and ensure materials reach sites as planned.
Resolve procurement-related issues quickly to avoid project delays.
Contract & Documentation Management
Prepare and manage purchase orders, vendor agreements, and procurement documentation.
Ensure procurement processes comply with Zyeta's internal standards and approval frameworks.
Maintain proper records of vendor contracts, pricing agreements, and procurement transactions.
Support finance teams in invoice verification and payment coordination.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with design, project management, finance, and site teams to ensure procurement aligns with execution needs.
Participate in project planning discussions to anticipate material requirements early.
Support project teams in resolving vendor or material-related challenges.

Qualifications & Experience
610 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles within interiors, construction, or real estate industries.
Strong experience sourcing materials and managing vendors for commercial interior or design and build projects.
Proven track record in vendor negotiation, cost management, and procurement planning.
Strong understanding of interior materials, construction processes, and vendor ecosystems.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
