Job Description

Role: Procurement Manager

Reporting to: Procurement Head

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

 

Role Outline: The role is responsible in executing and managing end-to-end procurement activities across all in-house and development projects. The role focuses on operational procurement, vendor coordination, negotiation, documentation, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services. The position requires close coordination with project, architect, finance, stores, and legal teams to support efficient project delivery within defined budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Execution and Planning

  • Assist in preparing procurement plans as per project requirements, timelines, and budgets for all in-house and building-related works.
  • Coordinate with project and architect teams to forecast material and service needs on a timely basis.

Vendor Coordination and Sourcing

  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend qualified vendors and service providers, with a strong preference for 99% OEM sources.
  • Collect and compare a minimum of 3–4 quotes for each procurement to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms with the vendor.

Material and Services Procurement

  • Manage the procurement process for civil, MEP, housekeeping (OPEX), and project-related materials (interior, electrical, paint, etc.).
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and logistics to avoid delays; manage material flow to and from the respective stores of each site.

Cost Control and Budget Compliance

  • Monitor procurement costs to ensure adherence to project budgets. Escalate deviations to the Procurement Head for necessary actions. –
  • Support in implementing measures such as better negotiation, delivery optimization, and favourable credit periods.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal processes and statutory requirements (e.g., GST, vendor documentation).
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of purchase orders, vendor agreements, invoices, delivery challans and payment schedules. 
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement SOPs. 

Coordination and Reporting

  • Work collaboratively with project, finance, stores, and legal teams for smooth procurement execution.
  • Provide regular procurement status updates to the Procurement Head and participate in project review meetings as required.
