Job Description:We are looking for a Procurement Manager who will oversee and execute the complete procurement cycle for a wide range of events. This role is responsible for sourcing reliable vendors, negotiating advantageous contracts, managing budgets, and ensuring that every product and service procured aligns with event-specific requirements, quality standards, and timelines. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced event environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to diverse event requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard new vendors across categories such as venues, catering, AV, dcor, logistics, and staffing.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships while ensuring vendor performance and compliance.
- Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and cost-effective contracts.
- Create, review, and manage all vendor contracts, ensuring adherence to policies and legal standards.
- Manage procurement budgets and drive cost-optimisation without compromising quality.
- Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with event planning teams to align procurement with event needs.
- Oversee inventory levels, logistics coordination, and timely delivery of assets.
- Maintain an organised vendor database including rate cards, terms, taxes, discounts, and contract validity.
- Regularly benchmark vendor rates against market standards to ensure competitive pricing.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within events, hospitality, or a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in vendor sourcing, contract management, and budget control.
- Excellent organisational abilities and project management skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight event deadlines.

- Familiarity with vendor management systems and rate card databases.
- Knowledge of logistics planning and inventory management for event setups.
