About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Manager with experience in the interior design or furniture manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchase of raw materials, negotiating with vendors, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement to support ongoing production and project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, source, and procure raw materials such as wood, laminates, hardware, fittings, paints, and other interior-related supplies.
- Identify reliable vendors and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, supplier performance, and purchase orders.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the factory and project teams for material forecasting.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Develop cost-saving initiatives and improve procurement processes.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for invoice verification and payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 36 years of experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably in the interior design, modular furniture, or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of raw materials used in interiors and vendor networks in NCR or nearby regions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., Tally, ERP, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
